The Cobra 148 GTL is probably the only SSB mobile cb radio that's still in production to this day. Cobra did it right with this one and this mobile has a long legacy. Whether you operate on AM or SSB (Single Sideband), or want to run it mobile or as a base, this one sounds good all way around! No cheap feel on this one and a nice sleek look to boot!

The Original Cobra 148 GTL series mobile cb radio came back due to large demand. The current model has some minor improvements such as front mounted mic connector to allow easier in dash mounting. You can switch easily from AM or USB and LSB with a simple switch! Also included is an extra long nine foot mic cord so long reaches in a big truck are not a problem!
